About Drew Hall

AN EARLY START
Growing up in rural Linden, NC, Drew was immersed in horticulture and construction from youth, maintaining his father's 1-acre garden homestead and working at the neighboring farm. By age 15, he was thoroughly employed in the construction and maintenance of Fayetteville's Kings Grant Golf Course - from landscaping and bunkers to irrigation and drainage. While earning his degree in turfgrass and horticulture, he expanded his skill in hardscapes, water features and arboriculture, and maintained the famous Thomas Jefferson estate gardens.

OFF TO THE RACES

For several years, Drew managed landscape construction and maintenance for A&A Plants - a large nursery, tree farm and garden center in Brown Summit, NC - where he oversaw 20 greenhouses and the construction of a 1,000-acre farm as it converted from tobacco to sod. Later, as a project manager for Earth Graphics, he oversaw high-end landscape construction projects across North Carolina and Virginia, for clients as notable as racing legends Richard Petty and Bobby Labonte. Drew expertly managed a range of residential and commercial projects during this 4-year tenure, including stone and paver patios, water features and fish ponds, retaining walls, irrigation and drainage, specialty gardens, outdoor kitchens, decks, pergolas, trellises, swimming pools and screened-in porch additions.

BUILDING A BUSINESS

Drew then started his own business in Harkers Island, NC. Safe Harbor Landscapes and Design provided a breadth of services for 12 years, including design and installation, irrigation, maintenance, outdoor kitchens, masonry, decks, carpentry, home repairs and remodeling. During a temporary family relocation to Texas, Drew served as a superintendent for Elite Golf Course Management, overseeing the reconstruction of Irving Golf Course and the remodeling of its clubhouse outside Dallas.

Upon returning to North Carolina in 2023, Drew restarted his business out of Surf City. Now known as Lifeflow Services, he's proudly building beautiful spaces around the nostalgic beaches of his childhood summers. Lifeflow serves the coastal area from Sneads Ferry to Ogden, including all of Topsail Island. With his broad capabilities and over 30 years of experience, Drew and his team are locally known for their dependability and professionalism, providing expert landscaping and construction to individuals, businesses and HOA communities. He enjoys applying a rich skill set that brings each client's vision to life.

In their free time, Drew and his partner, Shaye, enjoy boating, fishing, traveling, tossing "warshers" on the beach and spoiling their shelter kitty, Odin, with local shrimp.
